a family of wire-speed Fast Ethernet desktop switches
that delivers the next generation of performance and
functionality for the LAN with 10/100/1000BaseT uplinks,
enhanced IOS service, quality of service (QoS),
multicast management, high availability and security
features using a simple, Web-based interface - Cisco
Cluster Management Suite (CMS) Software.
The Gigabit-over-copper Catalyst
2950T-24 switch is a component of the Cisco
Gigabit Ethernet over copper solution , offering
10/100/1000BaseT uplinks and is ideally suited for
customers who want to migrate from Fast Ethernet to a
higher performance Gigabit Ethernet backbone using
existing Category 5 copper cabling.
