Now you can take multiple Internet connections and bond them into one high bandwidth channel for 100% uninterrupted availability for applications that require ironclad point-to-point connectivity. When one connection goes down or fluctuates, traffic automatically gets redirected to the best working links without interruption. This type of load balancing, called channel bonding, allows for stateful failover of traffic so that applications don’t have to stop and restart over another link, thus ensuring important applications that might otherwise fail after even the briefest disruptions are never affected and continue to run smoothly.

Multi-site support

When used in tandem, Ecessa’s PowerLink 55, the 200 and EHQ models allow multi-site organizations to provide highly scalable aggregated bandwidth to as many as 60 remote offices over the lowest-cost links. Typically, organizations deploy a PL200 or EHQ at central or headquarter sites and economical PL55s at remote sites, where high-availability bandwidth needs are lower. The PL55 combines up to three different low-cost broadband connections for a total of 10 Mbps of aggregated bandwidth.

Allowing low-cost bandwidth options
