The Cisco 2621 Modular Router provides integrated 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports with support for Cisco's Inter-Switch Link (ISL) protocol.  It offers a cost-effective solution for Fast Ethernet or VLANs in a branch office.  Data Compression AIM improves application performance on congested links and allows new series (such as voice) to be added without increasing WAN bandwidth.

  • Multi-protocol or single-protocol routing
  • Built-in Dial-on-demand port for WAN back-up

The Cisco 2621 is a Cisco 2600 series router.   Cisco Systems extends enterprise class versatility, integration, and power to branch offices with the Cisco 2600 series modular access router family.
